red, white, blueberry

red, white, blueberry

I’d like to introduce my recent life with blueberries as a snack and a short trip to North Carolina.

Hi!

Hello from my cheerful desk. I love being in this house! This is the view looking right from my desk, and it’s my favorite. From the left side, you can look around your neighborhood and keep an eye on your mail and delivery people. In addition, cute children are playing.

home purchase

I ordered a few more items for the loft, so I think I’m done shopping for a while! The timing was perfect because Wayfair is having a big Fourth of July sale. I purchased this storage buffet to store puzzles and gift items in my loft. We also decided to splurge on a koala sofa bed! I purchased a forest green Byron sofa. I had a lot of trouble deciding on the color, but I chose green because it doesn’t show dirt easily.

I also purchased this rattan bench for my entryway.

You may need to purchase a hose to wash the siding and floors.

olive da sale

Oliveda also has a 4th of July sale. Now through Sunday, July 5th, enjoy 35% off items sitewide. When you spend $149 or more, you also get a free full-size product, and orders over $50 ship for free.

coffee station

This cabinet with pull-out shelves is my new coffee and smoothie station.

I bought this little canister that comes with a 1/8 cup scoop that fits on the side for my French press.

Let’s go to Hillsboro!

The boys are attending Grammy+P Camp in North Carolina this week. I drove there on Saturday and spent the night there.

We had dinner at my favorite restaurant in town, Pizza Cornicione.

Because the pizza is great and it’s next door to Whit’s!!Mini Oreo Whitzers!

This snake is from Grammy’s rubber snake collection, but that doesn’t mean the boys didn’t want to use it to scare her in the morning 🙂

Sunday morning I took a walk through Hillsboro. I always pass by my childhood home.

And ended up going to Steve’s Market where I got these s’mores cinnamon rolls. I had to! ! I’m obsessed with marshmallows.

I came back to enjoy more of Birch’s pizza and gave the boys a big hug before heading back to Seaville for the week. They have big plans to go to the swamp (lol) and Virginia Beach. The boys love this “camp” every year.

While they’re away, I’m having fun making Blue Aprons and making Old Fashioneds to take to the rooftop. I bought these glasses and love them!

These sandwiches were so delicious! (That’s a non-alcoholic Aperol Spritz!)

rewind and go back

Here’s a photo dump from the past few weeks.

snake attack

Speaking of real snakes, before we moved, we put a teenage black snake in our garage and stuck it against the wall. (That’s why I moved (lol)). It was so scary that Birch was allowed to sleep in my bed that night. he was happy.

Decades Arcade

Birch spent many hours on this Star Wars game on two different occasions.

And I loved playing Mario Bros. and Tetris!

At the boys’ request, we also enjoyed a nice lunch at the riverside.

Farewell Fabi

Fabi, one of the most famous people in our friend group, has moved to Tucson. I will miss him and his costumes and songs!

A pitch black night that happened by chance:

Happy Hour + Rummikub at Bang!

Women’s dinner:

Leftover pork/coconut rice/easy salad

Turn leftover chicken nuggets into a Greek bowl!

I didn’t want to waste them!

Have a wonderful 4th weekend!
