Travel wellness is a must

Share my wellness essentials for your trip!

Hello friends! Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend and my friend who was celebrating Easter enjoyed a beautiful holiday. We had brunch at this house, went to see the king of the king with friends, had dinner and celebrated Trevor’s Bday with Fam. It was perfect.

The Spring Forward Challenge starts today, so if you’re looking for a Lil Wellness Reset, sign up here.

For today’s post, I wanted to talk a bit about travel wellness essentials. Some people are stuffed with super lights and say, “How can I cushion a mini-somavedic and not break?”

Maybe one day I will be the only girl on the plane, but for now there are too many things I like to have with me. I tried to focus solely on the essentials in this post, but included all the wellness merchandise that you bring during your trip. Affiliate links are included below as they are products I have used and loved for many years. Thank you for shopping through my links and supporting my blog!

If you have a favorite to add to your list, leave it in the comments below!

Travel wellness is a must

Compression socks

These are game changers for long flights and drives. I can’t live without them because they really help reduce circulation and swelling. I stand up and walk at least every few hours unless I’m sleeping. Wear a jumpsuit or comfortable pants while traveling (no leggings). These are the best.

Rest Eye Mask

These are one of my eye care products, but they are amazing about overall eye health, especially when dealing with dry eyes on flights. I use one every morning. They open the oil glands and help increase oil production in your eyes, which lubricates them and it is very relaxing. Try it here.

Hand sanitizer

I don’t think we should abuse hand sanitizer, but I think it’s important to have it when you have kids and they’re touching everything and holding it in your hand for a trip. There is always no convenient location for washing your hands. This is my favorite hand sanitizer that is very gentle on the skin, and is overly fragrant and very moisturized.

Supplements containers and supplements

I always travel with supplements. My handy little supplement container. I don’t think you should take supplements without a functional test to see what your body actually needs. I used to take large amounts of supplements, but after using testing and targeted protocols, I take just a handful every day based on my tests.

Here is a link to my favorite supplement container.

For daily supplements, there are things I always include for travel: melatonin, daily nutritional support, digestive enzymes, organic greens (code fitness), binders.

Eye mask

You never know what a light situation will be like in a hotel, and I also like to have an eye mask for a long flight. I put in some earplugs, add an eye mask, take melatonin on my travel days, and everyone takes every night. Vivarays makes eye masks for Amaaazing.

Travel humidifiers

One of the easiest healthy habits for my eyes and skin is using a daily humidifier. I use the full size version at home, but when I travel, I use this small travel humidifier. The airplane air is very dry and is useful in hotels too. Here is my favorite link (Code Fitness Sta).

SPF

I usually feel reserved when we travel, unless we are out for dinner, but SPF can’t be negotiated every day. This is my go-to SPF moisturizer. Add a little coverage with anti-aging properties and sunscreen (Code Fitnessista).

LMNT

I have every.single.day. My favourite flavours are Raspberry and Citrus. I store some packets in my carry-on car and put more in my suitcase. Have them on a Thrive Market subscription.

Clearly filtered water bottle

When we travel, water always sketches me a bit. It’s fine once you reach your destination (the hotel has a large glass bottle), but at the airport you can choose a water dispenser (tap water) or a plastic bottle. Perfect solution: clearly filtered. This bottle removes over 300 contaminants and the water is amazing. I also love using pitchers at home.

Blue light block glasses

When traveling, you are surrounded by fluorescence and LED lights from the airport and plane. I love wearing 4 inch glasses all day, but I especially love wearing red lenses before bed. This is my link for the best (Code Fitnessista).

Neck pillow

I have tried so many travel neck pillows, and this is my greatest favorite of all time.

I support it towards the window and get quality sleep while I fly. The last time I went to Spain, I almost slept from Phoenix to London, landing as if I was refreshed and waking up!

Red light mask

It is extremely portable, lightweight and easy to pack. Make sure to use it as a cushion so that it doesn’t get crushed by a suitcase. Check it out here and use Fitnessista15. I use this several times a week and notice the difference in skin brightness and texture when it’s part of my routine.

Friends, share your travel wellness essentials! Is there anything you can’t live without?

I would always hope to bring my own PEMF mat and discuss packing my Lumebox for my next big trip. 😉
