Hello everyone, I hope all is well. In search of some much-needed relaxation, I went to Rituals Mind Oasis on Oxford Street. I stumbled across this place on fyp and decided to find out more
I love Rituals as a brand so I was really looking forward to experiencing Mind Oasis, especially the brain massage. I booked the ultimate wellbeing experience which combines a 25 minute hydromassage with a 30 minute mind massage.
Firstly, the instructions via the website take you to the wrong ritual on Oxford Street (lol). You want the Ritual opposite John Lewis, not the Ritual facing Court Road at Tottenham.
We arrived 10 minutes late for our 2pm appointment, but the staff were very understanding and explained that it was common. I was offered tea and shown to the first therapy room. This was for hydromassage. I didn’t know what to expect.
Hydromassage is a heated bed that combines aromatherapy, red light therapy and relaxing sounds, allowing you to control the intensity of each. I turned off a red flag – can anyone actually see the benefits of this lol? We increased the intensity of aromatherapy and massage.
The massage was better than expected. It really felt like someone had dragged my knuckles down my back. The medium intensity felt good, but I prefer a stronger intensity for my massage. Surprisingly, it covered my entire body, including my calves.
The room was clean and there was only one other person so we felt very exclusive
Next we went to the other side for a brain massage. This is something I was very interested in. It comes in a private pod with sounds to help massage your brain. The anti-gravity chair also vibrates, and 30 minutes of calming sounds will help you relax, meditate, and turn off your mind, so do some breathing exercises first.
I found this very relaxing. It’s hard to turn off my mind, but I was very happy to have time to calm my mind and meditate.
Before I knew it, the experience was over.
It was a wonderful experience. The staff were wonderful. Even though we were late, we were able to get the full 55 minute experience. There was no rush. I signed up to be a member and received a free beach bag. I feel it’s great quality
All in all, this is a true oasis in the middle of one of London’s busiest streets. The service was also very affordable. Both treatments cost £58, which is great value for London.
